I like that library books have secret lives. All those hands that have held them. All those eyes that have read them.

Two top language bookshops, one of them is one of the branches of Gibert Jeune just off boulevard St Michel (there’s also a great 2nd hand bookstore called Boulinier which has a little constantly changing language section), and Attica which is somewhere in the south (I don’t remember right now but you’ll find it online ahah)
My favourite things to do are to go to high places hahah. Top one is the tower of Notre Dame (though that’s some queueing), followed by the Arc de triomphe, but the roof of the galeries lafayette is p cool too. I’d recommend one of the boat trips (les bateaux mouches) up the river, Versailles, the Catacombs, le jardin de Luxembourg, père lachaise… there’s practically unlimited things to do tbh haha.
The St Michel area is a really nice place to go out to eat and there are some nice bars in the grands boulevards area or south of Pigalle…
i’m bad at this tbh
I’ve spent so much money at Gilbert Jeune! :’( Well, no. I’m not sad. My bank account is.

Well, this is the third time here at Sexy Codicology that we are delighted to communicate that the Vatican Library has, once again, digitized and made available a few hundreds new manuscripts!
Since we started the DMMmaps project, the Vatican Library has more than doubled the number of digitally available books.Plus, they have reorganized the home page: Where once you could see the endless list…
Second hand books are wild books, homeless books; they have come together in vast flocks of variegated feather, and have a charm which the domesticated volumes of the library lack.

By CS Lewis? Hmm.. I’d say yes. But there’s also Perelandra.
But my favourite book in general? Ermm.. Hard to say. There are so many books that I love. I can’t decide. But for sure, some volumes of the Chronicles of Narnia. Hmm.. Also The Book of Lost Tales by JRR Tolkien. And Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I know that’s a lot. Sorry.
I went to a bookstore today and didn’t buy books. I deserve a medal
